It was here in the camp grounds of Arches where the red sand first got into my blood. It was May of 1960. In those days the main road was dirt and it wasn't even a National Park, yet. As a young boy I'll never forget the beauty of this place and the fun we had playing in the sandstone alleys. I always love returning to this interesting landscape where nature has carved out more than 1500 arches!
