For 10 days each July, Calgarians let their hair down to celebrate their Western heritage with “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth” – The Calgary Stampede. More than 100,000 people turn out each day for the gigantic midway, concerts, rodeo, fireworks and world-famous ‘chuck wagon races.’ This is a wonderful city to be in anytime but it is especially exciting during The Week. |
