Ted Winder – "One of the Mountain West's Great Tour Guides!"
GREAT FALLS, MONTANA

When Lewis & Clark did their difficult portage around the great falls of the Missouri in 1805 they came across this gushing natural spring.  Now a favorite stop of mine, Giant Springs puts out more than 134,000 gallons a minute of mineral-rich water.  Just three miles from downtown; there is a nice park here, trout hatchery and the Guinness Book of Records’ shortest river in America.
