In the 1950s, as a young boy, our family went to Yellowstone nearly every summer for our vacation. It was the 'old' Yellowstone; where bears came up to the car window and we would stay in a small cabin, wondering, in the middle of the night, who or what was making the clanging noises around the garbage cans. I never tire of this fascinating place that some refer to as the Serengeti of North America.
